VIRGINIA MARX CHILDREN’S CENTER
The Virginia Marx Children’s Center opened on the campus of SUNY Westchester Community College on August 25, 1996, thanks to the generosity of longtime Westchester Community College Foundation board member Virginia Marx and her husband, Leonard.
Today, the Virginia Marx Children’s Center is a nurturing child care center for children from six weeks through five years of age. It is open to the children of students, faculty, staff and the community at large. It is also a laboratory school for students in SUNY WCC’s Early Childhood, Human Services, and Dietetic Technology curricula.
