Overview & Bylaws
The Office of Alumni Engagement exists to build meaningful relationships among a network of alumni and friends with access to the campus community and the life-changing education it provides…together we support alumni, students, and the college community.
All graduates and students who completed 24 or more credits are automatically recognized as members of the Alumni Association, and the Alumni Council is your board of elected members. The Council meets on the second Tuesday of the month, during the academic year. By-laws can be found by clicking here.
To be considered for service to the Alumni Council, please complete our online application by clicking here. Positions will be filled as outlined in the by-laws.

WCC Alumni Voyager Award Nomination
The Voyager award was created to recognize alumni who have had success in their professional career. Established in 1993, this award has been presented to educational leaders, actors, doctors and more.
Members of the SUNY Westchester community are invited to nominate alumni who they feel are most deserving of the award. Criteria for consideration include:
- Alumnus of WCC (as defined in the By-Laws)
- Demonstration of achievement in one of two areas
- Exceptional accomplishments and/or leadership in career field or volunteer service
- Dedication/commitment to WCC through giving and/or service
Recipients must be present at the annual meeting of the WCC Alumni Association.
