SCHOLARSHIPS
Open the Door to Opportunity Through Scholarships
Westchester Community College’s tuition remains among SUNY’s lowest, at $5,230 per academic year – yet the total cost of education, including textbooks, transportation, fees, and living expenses exceeds $24,948* annually, which represents an insurmountable barrier for families with few or no resources.
Gifts from generous donors enable the Westchester Community College Foundation to award nearly $3 million in student support annually. Scholarship awards cover tuition, fees, and other expenses associated with college attendance. Awards are made to full-time and part-time students; incoming students, continuing students, and graduating students.

Establishing a Named Scholarship Fund
Awards can be funded on an annual basis, beginning at $5,000, or can be permanently endowed, beginning at $45,000. Scholarships are awarded to students who meet the flexible criteria that reflect the donor’s interests.
